Each school year, all Dunbar families are required to submit a completed enrollment packet to Dunbar High School. This includes proving DC residency. For complete information and access to the online enrollment packet, click here:

Families can also submit documents in-person at Dunbar HS,
Monday - Friday from 9:00 am – 3:30 pm

All families must submit documents to prove DC residency within Dunbar High School enrollment boundary. The parent/guardian’s name on the enrollment form must match the name on the DC residency verification document(s). The easiest documents to provide for this may be photos of your driver’s license and car registration. Enrollment packets are available in English, Spanish, Amharic, Chinese, French and Vietnamese.
Please Note: If you are using the Utility Bill Option to verify residency...Accepted utility bills are gas, electric, and water only. DCPS requires a separate paid receipt showing payment of the bill. Bringing two consecutive bills from the same utility company, the second showing payment and/or credit for the first, is acceptable. These bills must be dated within the two months immediately preceding your submission of the DC Residency Form.
